Publisher's Synopsis
Lanny Marshall inherits several million dollars from an uncle and after consulting with his buddy Gary Andrews, decides to buy an island in the Pacific Ocean. Gary, a realtor, gets in touch with Linda Banning, the owner of an island not far from Hawaii. The families, Lanny, his wife Nicole and son Jason along with Gary and his wife Carol and son Larry, fly to Los Angeles, California to sign the papers. From there they fly to Honolulu and then take a cruise to the island of Ranola. After arriving they meet with mayor Luke Dalton, judge William Dunn and the chief Forrest Preston, the chief of police. Lanny is offered to be crowned king of Ranola, though Lanny prefers to be a prince with Gary as a duke. They have a number of adventures.
