Publisher's Synopsis
In the eve of the inauguration as President of the Republic, Manfredo Teles is taken quickly to the Hospital of Brasilia, where he is operated in emergency. There, it begins, for his wife (Mariana), his family and the people who idolize him, a death expectation that goes on to last 40 days and nights. The fight of the President to survive is changed into martyrdom, in a true 'Calvary', suffering 6 successive surgeries.
