I have nothing to say in criticism of the work of this committee, and no intention of discussing the comparative merits of rival sys tems. I question if any committee could have done better, or steered clear of all difficulties. But whether it may not be advisable to supplement the study of these lessons by other features of work is a subject on which I shall have something to say later on.
