Global levels of ozone have declined in recent years. International action has been taken to solve the problem, but the damage to ozone caused by man-made chemicals will not be resolved for many decades. This work assesses the risks associated with ozone depletion in the UK, and considers the implications of an unanticipated further loss of ozone.
