Publisher's Synopsis
Our story takes place in an old, abandoned house where the world outside is well lost and time almost stands still. It is sequestered and still strangely sheltered from the rude winds of the world. It is called by its inhabitants "The Plantation." Oh! Did I mention that all the inhabitants of "The Plantation" are canine? Our story centers around 13 of them. Why 13? I do not know. And I must tell you that the words spoken by the inhabitants of "The Plantation" are not the first time they have been spoken.
