Austin did not realize how much his life would change that summer. At his young age only thought magical kingdoms, like Arcadia, existed in stories and fantasy. That was until he found himself in Arcadia on a quest to battle the last dragon, Loewenmaul! He will become a major participate in the ongoing war to reclaim Arcadia, a world filled with magical creatures, wizards, castles and life and death perils.
This coming of age story tells of a young man who had lost his father at a young age and after getting caught up with the wrong crowd of friends, discovers an unlikely mentor and a destiny he could only fantasize about living in his dreams. Austin was not one to make friends easily but found his crew that not only does he find life long friends but also a love interest that he was not expecting. He discovers he could face down armies, dragons and even death but somehow girls was not part of his training. The most peculiar friend he makes is with a cat. As much as he was not expecting to be dealing with a budding relationship, no one could have convinced him that he'd be friends with a cat. Come along and follow this group of young men and women as they have to grow up and not only be leaders for their people but heroes to their people.
