Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Peril of Prussianism
HE following pages contain the sub stance of an address delivered by the writer before the annual convention of the Iowa Bankers Association at Des Moines on June 14, 1917. A request from the bankers of one section of the State that the address be printed in German for circulation among the large German-born population of their dis triot, together with a number of enquiries for copies of the English text, have tempted me to believe that some good purpose might be served by publishing the address in its present form. However opinions may have differed in the past as to our duty in the world.
