A wonderful story about a little girl struggling with "b, d, and p." Zehi is learning to read and is getting frustrated that she keeps confusing them. She is persistent though and finds her own mnemonic device to help her remember. She finally gets it and is super excited. I am sure we all remember a moment in our childhood when we finally figured something out and how satisfying that was... this is essentially what this book is all about. I love the message about never giving up and the potential this book has for classroom use. Gonna be recommending this one to some teacher friends for sure. Check out @thephonicsmap for more. Children's Bookshelf Great Book!It was great following Zeh'is story about her experience with the letters b, p, and d. After her attempts and struggled, then through the encouragement of her family. It was a neat surprise to see interactive activities at the end for the reader to engage in. I believe this book can help you own little ones in their struggles with these letters. T. Z.
