Publisher's Synopsis
I was raised in a very strict, yet well intended religious background. In 1987 at 25 years old, I began a spiritual journey to try to find some critical answers to my growing, overwhelming questions. By the mid-nineties, I was really discouraged and confused. Twice, I came very close to walking away from God and anything to do with Him. One day, when I was at the bottom of my discouragement and confusion, I yelled at Him saying, "I hate your stupid religion." The reply was not in an audible voice, but I heard something definitely tell me: "It's not mine." It was a turning point for me in my understanding of and relationship with God. Since that time, I have grown to comprehend that God is the Very Best of the best. God is filled with Eternal Love, Decency and Goodness and any distortions that I see in his followers, are not from Him. God is absolutely incredible, everything my heart longs for and eternally beyond my wildest imaginations. This series is really my attempt to address the spiritual battles that we all face down here and to introduce us to God's, Eternal Realities. I want it to also be a fun story filled with imagination. Jesus said we have to become like little children to enter the Kingdom of God. Children are Masters of Imagination. Hopefully you will have your imagination greatly expanded about what God has promised us. I long to convey to you his excellent character, to help you experience His Great Love and to make His kingdom and Eternal Promises your top priority in life. Interwoven into the story are the following questions and challenges, plus a few things you might not have ever thought about. Why are our battles in this life so powerfully difficult and who is our real enemy? What would it be like to speak with God face to face? What will heaven, The Eternal City and our new bodies be like? To me, Jesus was resurrected with a prototype our heavenly body and its eternal possibilities. Read Luke 24. In this series I've tried to bring to life those Gifts, to hopefully get us excited for heaven. I am certain that I'm far short of what it will be like, but I had to try. Kosant represents anyone who really has no understanding of God and who he is. God introduces himself, calls him and wins him over. Talena is that faithful person that has known about God her whole life but needs to have her faith tested and deepened. Hemel is the spiritual mentor that all of us need. He is not perfect but has grown into godly maturity by surrendering himself completely to his God. The Kertas represent that terrific godly character that each of us will someday receive in heaven. They also whisper a hint of what angels are like and their physical realities. This second book in the series begins with the Mission Team in training to complete the Prophesy. They naively have no idea how fiercely the enemy will attack them in a harsh attempt to stop their mission. The tension builds, and the battles get stronger, but they will learn along the journey, that God is very faithful, even in seemingly impossible circumstances. Thomas Archer/Kosant is about to have his world blown away by a beautiful girl and her fantastic claim that he is someone called the Thlanseiun, "The One Who Will Lead Us." This first book will introduce you to the incredible world called Paradise, with all of its Gifts, Mysteries, Bitter, Aggressive Enemies and Intrigue. Coming in early 2018, the second book in the Paradise Series, If You find Paradise, will thrust you further into the action and leave you longing for more.
