Publisher's Synopsis
For Alexander Lee the last passenger he had picked up from outside a warehouse in the outskirts of Las Vegas was supposed to be the last ride of the night. The Software Engineer was recently laid off by the tech-firm amid the recent job cuts across the U.S., and he had to resort to giving rides and do odd jobs in between the job hunt. The driving gig had been bringing in steady income. Life was good until Alex became greedy and decided to give that one last ride. Meanwhile Allison Williams, a struggling college student, drops a pizza off at a customer's house. She had been working hard, and just like Alex, the rideshare driver, Alice had found a gig as a pizza delivery driver to pay her bills off. But Alice had just begun working as a driver and relied totally, like most people, on the satellite navigation system to get around the town. The GPS takes the young driver to the destination, but does Allison Williams even know if the house she ended up at was the right house at all? Or something sinister was at works that had brought the young student outside the wrong house instead?
