Publisher's Synopsis
Two children, Ernest and Daisy, manage a rickety hotel in the middle of a bleak moor. They used to run it with their grandmother, but they woke up one morning to discover that she had mysteriously disappeared. So the children take charge. Their main challenge is the guests, why is it that only strange people come to the hotel.
