Doctors and nurses at crowded hospitals work long hours to treat ill patients, and the flood of victims who were robbed, stabbed, shot, or maimed. Unhappy with the dire circumstances, Doctor Pendergrass becomes a nighttime vigilante.
In the dark alleys of London, he hunts perpetrators and swiftly serves justice. Unsettling whispers of an avenging angel begin to circulate among even the most hardened criminals.
Troubled by newspaper articles about a serial killer stalking London's East End, Doctor Pendergrass decides to intervene. As the body count rises, he accepts the help of friends in a desperate attempt to stop the killer before they murder again, or disappear forever.
