Publisher's Synopsis

Lyle R. Lybbert, told stories that were based on actual events in his life. As he told these stories and later wrote them down he embellished them such that they are now extremely hilarious. Did he really embellish them? No, he simply enriched them. John Isaac Lybbert, dad's dad died when he was 15 months old. Verda Lybbert, his mother died 1 month after he turned 11 years old. His older brothers and sisters watched over him but he was rather independant for his age. At age 14, Lyle began work on the huge Knight Ranch. While on this ranch he improved his cowboy skills and he also improved his life skills - a bit. For example in the story, HOW TO GET ALONG WITH YOUR BOSS, he discovered one should not laugh out loud at your boss when he hurts himself. That happened twice. In the story THE NIGHT OF THE COUGAR he had some mischievous thoughts come into his mind only to have them backfire and cause trouble. Then in the story, MEMORIES I COULD DO WITHOUT, he experienced terror like few men will ever eperience in a horse-drawn sleigh. You will find yourself reading theses stories over and over!
