It is the year 2117 C.E. Transmissions of an alien origin have originated from the minor planet, Pluto. Captain Nancy Darkstrider and her five-person crew on the one million metric ton Copernicus deep-scout spaceship have entered the system. Their mission: to map Pluto and its five moons and find the source of the transmissions. But there is only a two-month window. If they exceed this time, the crew risks staying on Pluto forever.
The frozen heart of Pluto beckons to Nancy as if a lover. The captain must find the secrets of this frozen world. For this, she is prepared to stake everything: her ship, her life, and her team.
