The Montana Game by Kelly Branigan-Curran Chosen for a chance of a lifetime hunting trip, Ellis Braan learns that his two employers aren't exactly the classy businessmen that they portray at the office. On the first night in Montana, they make it clear to him that to be a company player, he has to play their little game. At first he balks, appalled by their request, then Julie Sullivan walks in... For Julie Sullivan, life isn't a game. And she doesn't much appreciate that this man hitting on her at the bar seems to think it is. When he finally confesses what's really going on, that this isn't a game to him either, she gives in. But in the morning, when she picks up the new three clients to take out to her family's struggling hunting lodge, who should walk out of the hotel but Ellis Braan. Written for National Novel Writing Month 2013(NaNoWriMo)where the goal is to write 50,000 words in 30 days, The Montana Game was completed, start to finish, in just twenty six days. As a novice writer, I truly hopes I have produced a story that will make you, the reader, want to turn the page to see how this 'game' ends.
