Publisher's Synopsis

George Mictackic decides to take his family and friends to visit the Cross Florida Greenway, a park created on the land set aside to create the Cross Florida Barge Canal in the 1930s. The canal was never finished. Mista had seen the bridge abutments built nearly a century ago and left standing.

Robin spots a man staring at her, setting of the danger sense. They decided to move on to Silver Springs and camped for the night on the Silver river. The girls walk down to the river and are attacked by a group of men. John Benedict comes to their rescue with a dazzling display of martial arts. Mista engages him in a discussion of government and anarchy and he joins the family group.

The man Robin sees decides to eliminate Robin lest she reveal his criminal activities. Relentless, he tries to drown her, throw her into a lake, send thugs to destroy her whole family and tries to sink the family boat with all aboard. Mista prevails, but is sure he has not seen the last of this man..
