Victor and Moshe are preparing for a fishing trip on the Mediterranean Sea; Maya thinks she sees a mermaid, while Tiago gets caught up in some fishing line as he tries to help a monk seal pup. What did Maya see in the ocean? Can Tiago save the monk seal?
Author, Sylvia M. Medina is a mother and an environmental engineer. She founded Green Kids Club to encourage "Growing Up Green". Each of her stories introduces a tough environmental issue such as poaching or habitat encroachment. With the help of talking animals and local friends, the Green Kids manage to get into and out of trouble while helping the environment.
