I, G. L. Carlin, clerk of the county court of Barry county, Missouri, certify said court is a court of record, and that the document to which this certificate is attached is a correct, perfect, and true copy, in every particular, of a poll book of an election held in Cram Creek township, Barry county, Missouri, on Tuesday, the eighth day of November, A. D. 1865. I further certify the thirty-seven (37) votes on the said poll - book were cast up for John R. Kelso, and that these thirty-seven (37) votes were included in the number of votes certified to the secretary of state of Missouri as having been cast for John R. Kelso, in Barry county, Missouri, as a candidate for Congress in the fourth congressional district, at the general election held on the eighth day of November, 1864.
