The story of The McLass Legends: The Black Carnival, begins with a child named Map. There is something extraordinary about this child and her family and on the day of her eighth birthday, she is given a small wooden box that has been passed down within her family for generations. She is told by her parents that this box will help guide her to place in her dreams, a place called McLass, where she'll have many magical experiences. Once, on the edge of sleep, she whispers the words her parents told her, she is guided to the town of McLass and is introduced to the General Store owner, Mohammad, the man who gave Map's great, great, great grandmother the wooden box when she was a child. Mohammad guides Map around McLass and takes her on exciting and enchanting adventures. But a few months after Map has been visiting McLass in her dreams the town of McLass gets a shocking surprise that has set off a chain of events that threatens the balance of McLass and the very existence of their town; the construction of The Black Carnival. Mohammad and the mayor of McLass feel that it is Map's destiny to be the one who saves McLass before it disappears for good. Will Map and her friends be able to resist the allure of the darkness and restore the light of McLass? Is Map ready to fulfil a destiny that everyone but her seems to believe in? She may be brave enough to walk through the gates of The Black Carnival, but is she strong enough to destroy it?
