Publisher's Synopsis
How To Transform Your Devotion To Mary And Your Skills In Marian Apologetics Quickly And Easily
This collection of St. Robert Bellarmine's Marian writings simultaneously catapults your devotion to Mary and skills in Marian apologetics.
You're about to discover why, when Pope Clement VIII named St. Robert a cardinal, he stated...
"The Church of God has not his equal in learning."
You'll discover St. Robert's masterful arguments defending Our Lady's Immaculate Conception and Assumption... centuries before the Church formally defined them. He brilliantly explains and defends Our Lady's Perpetual Virginity, and her other privileges as well.
You'll especially enjoy his defense of the Salve Regina (Hail Holy Queen). Whereas St. Alphonsus Liguori explained it from a devotional point of view, St. Robert explained it from an apologetical point of view.
You'll see his sermons and sermon fragments.
This book also contains previously untranslated material showing how St. Robert lived his own devotion to Mary.
Now, Pope Pius XII said Jesus wants you to help Him lead souls to Heaven.
"Because Christ the Head holds such an eminent position, one must not think that He does not require the help of the Body. Yet this, also, must be held, marvelous though it may seem: Christ has need of His members. Moreover, as our Savior does not rule the Church directly in a visible manner, He wills to be helped by the members of His Body in carrying out the work of redemption.
"That is not because He is indigent and weak, but rather because He has so willed it for the greater glory of His spotless Spouse. This is a deep mystery, and an inexhaustible subject of meditation, that the salvation of many depends on the prayers and voluntary penances which the members of the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ offer for this intention...a cooperation which they must offer to our Divine Savior as though they were His associates" (Mystici Corporis, #44).
So, Jesus has placed you in a position of great responsibility to help Him in His mission of saving souls.
St. Peter says you must prepare yourself to be used by God for the salvation of others: "Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope" (1 Pet. 3:15).
When it comes to Marian doctrine and devotion, St. Robert gives you the explanations St. Peter says you should have.
That's good news, because in our own time St. Maximilian Kolbe said...
"We must realize the goal of the Militia of the Immaculate, as quickly as possible: that is, to conquer the whole world, and every individual soul which exists today or will exist until the end of the world, for the Immaculata, and through her for the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The reason why he encouraged us to act with a sense of urgency is because he warned...
"Modern times are dominated by Satan and will be more so in the future. The conflict with hell cannot be engaged by men, even the most clever. The lmmaculata alone has from God the promise of victory over Satan. However, assumed into heaven, the Mother of God now requires our cooperation. She seeks souls who will consecrate themselves entirely to Her, who will become in Her hands effective instruments for the defeat of Satan and the spreading of God's Kingdom upon earth."
And so, today devotion to Mary is more vital than ever. Now there is more need than ever before for all of us to practice our devotion to Mary better.
This book helps you do that. That way, you can take an even more active part in the great mission of Jesus and Mary to save as many souls as quickly as possible.
And so, for all the reasons you've read here, I urge you to send for your copy of this book today.
