This booklet gives a depth of information on the formation of one letter: I, i. It has meaning, association and correspondences built into it. This is a new, deeper approach to learning hand lettering in general, and specifically the letter I, i as used in both calligraphy and in planetary associations. This is the first in a series of booklets, leading to a deep understanding of the American alphabet as the philosophical basis of understanding our world. The author has constructed a work-along approach to loading meaning into the letters as the pen is mastered. It builds toward the aspiration of calligraphers to understand the depth of the alphabet beyond the simple A, B, C's.
