As the second book in the series, this book is a collection of works by excellent artists from around the globe. It gathers nearly 400 works by 27 leading artists whose main means of expression is lines. The book begins with an introduction about the history and development of line art as well as the accomplishmnets and contributions of related artists . The next section is the analysis of the works of the 27 artists, accompanied by personal profiles and interviews. Questions in the interviews focus on the intention of creating works of lines, the source of inspiration, favourite artist and the techniques and time of artistic creation. For each artist, 5-10 works are included. For works with complicated details, enlarged images of certain sections are included to enrich the book's content.
