Publisher's Synopsis
A little girl sees a hedgehog in her garden and tells her friend, they wonder if it's male or female and have to catch it and one of the girl's reads a wildlife book about what they eat and try to keep it in the garden. Once they find out what it is they name it and make a home for it. But magical things happen only when they have been good all day, when they pick up the hedgehog. As it is a magic hedgehog.
