Publisher's Synopsis
The Lovely Gravy Boat
A chance meeting with a secret benefactor redirects the lives of two disadvantaged siblings into a life of luxurious wealth, theft, and murder.
When a young doctor learns why men are dying at a homeless shelter, he discovers a doctor's greed and a priest's insanity are the perfect ingredients for murder, including his own.
Two siblings find their dream jobs complicated by a pair of mysteries in Thomas' debut novel. Over the course of this book, Thomas employs prose that is often evocative. The overall premise of the novel is intriguing, and Thomas does a fine job of illustrating and interweaving the elite circles in which the Allens move.Kirkus Review
