After John Lennon is shot, he is in a coma in a hospital room in New York City. It is then that his dearly departed mother Julia visits him and offers to him the opportunity to return to the year 1968. In spirit form, Lennon returns to that time, only to find it much more pleasant than what he remembered.
In Lennon's alternate vision of 1968, he and his bandmates are still in a state of total harmony and commitment to both the music and to each other. Be with the Beatles as they decide to play the Woodstock Festival in 1969. Be with the Beatles as they travel to Nepal to meet with their friend The Dalai Lama. Be with the Beatles as they headline the all star event known as, "The Concert for Life and Freedom," that takes place in New York's famed Central Park in 1973! This book is unlike any that you have ever read about The Beatles. Much of what is presented in this book is in harmony with what all of us have always wished for concerning the fate of the Beatles as a band and the fate of John Lennon as an individual. Had the Beatles been just a group of guys who simply made music, we would not have cared about them as much as we still do. However, we all know the Beatles to have been voices for social change, equality, and bringing the world together. They did make an indelible mark in their time period by expressing these principles of hope to the masses. However, what if they were shown a way to do so much more back then? More importantly, what if, in an alternate reality, the four Beatles had chosen to embrace their opportunities to do so much more? This story tells what happened when the Beatles accepted their roles as ambassadors to the world. In this fast-paced novel, you'll find adventure, new age philosophy and science fiction that rewrites the tale of John Lennon and the Beatles. This book stands as a loving tribute to not only John Lennon and the world that he personally imagined, but to a world that is still yet to reach its full potential. It is the author's sincere hope that this book will positively affect many souls throughout the world profoundly. The author freely admits that this book may come off as being overly optimistic and idealistic in its presentation. Perhaps, in this often cold and harsh world that we currently live in...what we all need now is a strong dose of idealistic optimism. When the author first conceived of this book, more than 20 years ago, he wrote the last page first and awaited all the rest of the time to have the remaining parts of the story channeled into him. One thing is for certain...no reader will ever forget the last page of this book. 10% of the proceeds of this book will go towards animal welfare charities.
