Publisher's Synopsis
A personal journey, from being 'the black sheep of the family' to living my best life. A harrowing yet uplifting account of what it's like to be raised by a narcissistic mother, and overcome Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - a common result of narcissistic parenting.
As a front line mental health worker for the National Health Service, with lived experience of CPTSD, I know first hand the limitations and obstacles of NHS mental health services. I know through my own experience, they do not have all the answers. We can recover from parental abuse, and we don't need the NHS to do it.
