THE LONG JUMP is a tender tale about a little boy named Chrishawn, who has to move from the city to the country. Soon he finds some new local friends, Samantha, Jake and John. He learns that he made it to the small town just in time for the annual frog jumping contest. However, as a city kid, he knew nothing about frogs and had never even touch one. After getting invited to catch frogs for the contest he has to face his fears. In the end he not only stumbles across another new friend but another side of himself. With creative situations, light-hearted fun, and humorous illustrations, this inspirational story touches on friendship, and the wonders of being a kid in the country. It was a big leap from the city to the country, but Chrishawn had not seen anything yet!
