Joan Vendlinger grew up in Euclid, Ohio. Her mother, Marge Kadow, was also an artist and published writer. Family vacations and trips to see various plays, concerts, ballets and art shows all fueled the creative juices in Joan. She is married to Kenneth and has one son, John Uzelac. She loves her garden, painting, writing and being creative. She especially loves to see what other artists have done with their God given abilities.
