"Mommy, don't you know it?" "Don't I know what?" "A big bad wolf can come and blow the house of straw away!" This is how in 2012 my then 3-year-old daughter reacted to my demonstration and explanation of the process of straw-bale construction. Her sincerely worried eyes made me think a lot and the idea of the story about the little pig who built a house of straw was born. This story is a reminder to the young generations that traditional and natural materials can be used to build modern, safe and most of all - environmentally friendly houses.
