E likes to stay in the shadows and avoid as much attention as possible, until Jack from elementary school walks into the picture. Little did E know the shadows will now no longer protect her. With the issues she and her mother have, E has hidden herself from the world and is happy hiding her true self. But one guy ends up changing all that, for he is continuously around and the teacher partners him with her in class. She's now afraid she will be unable to stop him from finding out the secrets she's buried so long ago. Jack is the hottest and most popular kid in high school, a fancy football player with darker secrets than anyone can imagine. While trying to avoid his father's abusive state and his brother Josh's abandonment, he finds himself being drawn to E, a girl he's grown to avoid but suddenly finds himself facing in every which way he turns. What starts out as hatred slowly grows into something more of which neither of them was prepared for. Suddenly the invisible girl is seen by someone, and the perfect boy is actually not that perfect. Now both need to decide whether to cross the line or stay hidden forever.
