Publisher's Synopsis
Throughout my life I have learned that God has always been there to help me. When voices and images of negativity went rapid on my mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, my life turned upside down. I was sent home 9 months into my mission and knowing something in my mind was not right, I chose to go to the hospital. At the hospital I was diagnosed with schizophrenia. As I persevered through the struggle of my diagnosis, I knew that the only way to get through this trial was to include God and Jesus Christ in my recovery. One day at a family reunion I prayed, asking God if I could talk to both my deceased grandpa and deceased sister. God allowed me to speak to them and they both said to me that I would gain stability in my mental illness. Through this experience I decided to do all I could to fulfill their promise. This journey to stability is written in this book: "The Light Within".
