Publisher's Synopsis

The Librarians are fairy-like creatures that live in book nooks in the Great Library. For centuries they lived peacefully amongst its shelves, borrowing what they need from the stories around them. And then one day the Dark Librarian stole the Adventure Stone and its store of magic, forcing the Librarian gatherers to mine the stories for treasures. And how lucky for Dash and Apostrophe, two of the youngest Librarians. With all the experienced gatherers busy seeking gold and jewels, their mothers are forced to send them out to fetch a few needed items. Unfortunately, they are forced to bring along Apostrophe's tag-a-long little sister Comma, who manages to break the cardinal rule - never bring an animal or a character out of a story. To return the kitten to its story, the three will head off on an adventure through stories old and some not so new, meeting new friends along the way. Fairy Tales as they were never meant to be told. Try not to hurt yourself when you fall off your chair laughing.
