Publisher's Synopsis
After a dramatic and impromptu family reunion of sorts, Brandon Jefferson, Jr. looks to pick up his life and carry on as if nothing happened, but there is more than just focusing on studies that he needs to worry about. With sleepless nights thanks to nightmares, or more like memories, there is no doubt in his mind that suicide is the best option since he can't function as everyone else does. Even after going home for the first time in three years to find the shock of his life when dealing with his old flame Faith, darkness clouds his mind and wants him to end it all. Camren Commodore finds himself standing in the middle of a war over territory and still has to deal with a fiancee who is more than power-hungry and who loves to step on his toes without even thinking of it. Nina steps from behind the curtains of his thoughts and offers him an alternative. The fruit doesn't fall too far from the tree when his family's business is once again on the line and he's forced to pull his powerful hand and prove that he is more ruthless than his father Zeus. Christopher Ascot, Jr. wonders if his father will accept him after he betrayed his best friend and basically spat on the meaning of loyalty and brotherhood. His whoring ways get the better of him until he's forced to submit to a least likely candidate. The only issue brought forth is how everyone else would view him afterward. Especially his best friend. Chris trips over his own feet constantly in order to patch up the friendship he had with BJ but he's at his wits end when BJ decides to turn things around on him. Nicky Jones headlines this installment when finding out that being a Head Hunter has it's downs when you leave the organization. After what had happened to Treva he finds it hard to piece his life back together. Soon, his eyes are set on Princess but he has no idea how to express how he really feels for her and balance work and studies all at the same time. Fire is coming for these boys thanks to what their parents have set forth and neither of them are prepared to see who's playing puppet master with their lives. For one of them, the drama becomes too much and the thought of upholding their family's legacy is not even a thought to bear. Tre is resurrected and is headed to finish what he started. Thank the heaven's that he's only an amateur Head Hunter, but is Nicky and Camren enough to hold off a man who is full of vengeance?
