Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Law and Practice: As to Receivers Appointed by the High Court of Justice, Out of Court
IN this edition a new chapter has been added, dealing with the topic of receivers appointed out of Court, and embodying some unconnected passages about such receivers which were in the fourth edition. The provisions with respect to receivers contained in the Conveyancing Act of 1881 have come into such general use by mortgagees, are so commonly imported into debenture trust deeds, and have been the subject of so many judicial comments and elucidations, that the separate treatment of this topic will, it is thought, be found in practice convenient, although the book is still mainly, as according to its original title it professed to be exclusively, concerned with receivers appointed by the Court.
