Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Latter-Day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 80: September 12, 1918
We might go on and enumerate many of these things. Do we pray as we should? Do we remember the Lord in our prayers? Here, in the Book of Mormon, one of the ancient prophets declares we should pray morning and noon and night. He says we should pray in our fields. We should pray for our ?ocks, for our herds. We should pray in our labors, and wherever we are we should cultivate and enjoy the Spirit of supplication, of humility, and of acknowledgment that the Lord is good, that the Lord is merciful, that He is supreme, that He is our Father, and that he has provided for our comfort and well-being in the world more than we could ever do for ourselves.
