Publisher's Synopsis
Cybil implements a change to her life from the grips of poverty and the welfare system by taking advantage of the offered education opportunity. As she hovers over the abyss between the education and employment a series of traumatic events redefines her future. the relationships that were developed while she was 'a single parent on welfare' have had a new light shone onto them. Cybil can see that her friends can't understand her anymore. As she watches the relationships with her female friends dissolve she is made aware that two of her male friends have both individually decided to eveolve their platonic relationship with Cybil. Eugene is willing to change who he is so that he can settle down with Cybil.
