Publisher's Synopsis
Ryan, a covert assassin, is betrayed by his employers. While fighting for his life, he is yanked into a world that he thought was only a construction of his grandfather's senile imagination. In this world, he must battle with and against wizards, dragons, demons, and other magical beings using Demonsbane, an enchanted battle axe that takes control of his body, saps his life force, and shows him his inescapable fate: eternal damnation in hell. Ryan plans to delay that fate and return home at any cost.even if his employers are waiting there for him, intent on speeding him along to his fate.
