The infamous alchemist Nicolas Flamel, wrote poems, books and illustrated in stone, even on his tombstone, the secret to the Philosopher's Stone he discovered in an ancient book he purchased in the 1300's. Ah, but always in code. It wasn't until the 1700's that a book is published from Germany, in German, that appears to be from an original transcript of The Book of Abraham. The book itself has not come to light yet, but sources at the time of the reign of Cardinal Richelieu state that the book could be seen and physically handled for a small fortune and for bit less a transcript of the book and its illustrations could be purchased.
