Publisher's Synopsis
Claire grew up hearing her grandmother's stories of another world where giant spiders and a great dragon lived. When Claire's grandmother dies, she inherits a crystal necklace. With the necklace comes the responsibility as the keeper of the dragons once she turns sixteen. As the keeper of the dragons, Claire must wake the dragon, just as her grandfather did so many years before, to save her family. As Claire's sixteenth birthday approaches, she starts dreaming of evil beings hunting her and her family. She begins to realize that her grandmother's stories were not mere fairy tales.
