Publisher's Synopsis

Lieutenant Sydney Terrance is a Historic Officer, in charge of document all the alien life forms and adventures she encounters while assigned to the starship The Kaleen II. She serves with her friend Dr. Elizabeth James and her love interest Commander Zechariah Sitchen. Sydney is instrumental in the first assignment of finding and rescuing the survivors of the lost ship The Zane. It is on this assignment she meets and falls for Telmar. On the second mission, Sydney is poisoned in a botched attempt to assassinate the King and Telmar is killed trying to apprehend the assassin. Sydney is healed by a local shaman and given a crystal to return to a mystical mound. She and Zechariah return the crystal and seal the tomb forever. Once they return to the ship, the Captain lays in a course for the planet known in their legends as Terra. Once they reach Terra or Earth, they find a group of aliens calling themselves "The Guardians." These Guardians forbid any other aliens from making contact with the humans on Earth. Captain Blake disobeys this order and launches a shuttle down to Earth as The Kaleen leaves Earth's orbit. Zechariah and Sydney are part of the team that lands in White Sands, New Mexico. Their team is quickly captured by a local who thinks they are illegal immigrants from Mexico. The Guardians come and transport the team members to their space station orbiting the Earth. In an attempt to escape, Ensign Robert Kellie transports everyone back to 1505AD Earth time. The Guardians, who are known as the D-Mxors, and The Kaleen team must work together to return back to the present time. Right before they are all about to be burned at the stake as witches and wizards, another being called S-Kaven transports them all safely back to the present day Kaleen.
