The Jungle Book is a collection of fables by noted 19th century author, Rudyard Kipling. Drawing upon his own childhood in India, the tales collected in this whimsical volume concern the life of a young boy raised by wolves and his jungle companions, as well as other stories of animals which embody human virtues and vices.
