Under these circumstances, and as I am sure you all desire to give honour to whom honour and respect are due, you will allow me, in the name Of the Society, to express your wish that they may have several years of health and happiness. At the same time, I think we might adopt a Similar expression of good-will to their juniors in member ship (four in number) up to and inclusive of the year 1860, and that our Secretary be instructed to convey that message to each and all of them.
