The Jack Book - a blank lined journal - Jack O'Brien (1925 - 2001) was an ecclesiastic muralist who painted cathedrals, churches and a State Capitol building throughout the eastern US. He wrote five books with an artist's descriptive pallet. This photo is from a photo shoot circa 1954 and is used for the cover of his book of poetry It's Like This, Jim also published by Double Bridge.
