Publisher's Synopsis
THE INVISIBLE HOUSE OF GODThere was a hole in my heart, only God's love could fill; He restored my soul in gentleness and promised my greatest hopes to be fulfilled. "Your life matters more than you know," He said. "You are fearfully and wonderfully made. This special gift I have saved just for you, a place of refuge, your spiritual shade. You have been in life's elements far to long, an eternal shelter we must build." He handed me His Word and said, "you'll need this; it's your blueprint for how to live. I created in you every good and perfect work; you have been gifted in perfect measure. From now on, you will labor only for Me and lay up in Heaven, your eternal treasure." I began the task of building, brick by brick, good works, all for His glory. It was often difficult, you understand, for I had no script for my story. At times I felt I was laboring in vain, because this house - I could not see it. "Look deep into your soul, ' He said to me, "search with your heart; destiny will reveal it!" Slowly and surely I began to see, for He prophesied and revealed in part! To think it was here all along, only hidden in the deepest reaches of the heart! I continued here in life's storms and elements, sometimes still feeling alone, But just when I thought I would tire completely, there was my Savior building stone by stone. In the fullness of time, I saw an end to my days. Christ and I are now face to face, and for all eternity, here will I live, so glad not to have quit life's spiritual race! He prepared a place where thieves cannot break in and steal, an inheritance for not growing weary in well doing. Had I realized all along, in His Kingdom this house belonged, I would have known that on streets of gold, a mansion I was building!
