"The Internal Dialogue" The source of happiness
Translation of the original book by Srila Japananda Das Acbsp. The Internal Dialogue. The source of happiness.
I looked at myself in the mirror and remembered the first time I became aware of this reflection of myself and discovered myself. It was me. Only changed my body, my face, my hair, all that is external but me, I remained the same inside
Internal dialogue has existed since time immemorial and we can already find traces of it in the documents bequeathed to us by the ancient Sumerians. The deepest dialogue is found in the Bhagavad-gita, the most important work of Hindu thought. Then it became particularly important in Greek culture, especially through Socrates and his speeches in which the author maintained interesting and endless discursive exchanges with different types of audiences. The Author
