Human resource management (HRM) is the term used to describe formal systems devised for the management of people within an organization. Total quality management (TQM) consists of organization-wide efforts to install and make permanent a climate in which an organization continuously improves its ability to deliver high-quality products and services to customers. The text The Impact of Human Resource Management in Total Quality examines total quality management and its effect on human performance. First chapter examines the issue of total quality management (TQM) and the management of human resources. A study on developing the role of human resource information systems for good leadership has been presented in second chapter. Third chapter examines competencies of human resource (HR) professionals in the manufacturing companies of Malaysia. Artificial intelligence tools and case base reasoning approach for improvement business process performance have been discussed in fourth chapter. Fifth chapter deals with quality assurance for the point-of-care testing (POCT) systems. Sixth chapter proposes a total safety management (TSM) implementation model based on total quality management (TQM) principles and provides guidelines to industry players for model development and implementation in their organizations. The goal of seventh chapter is to propose models, methods, and software tools well-tested in practice, for forecasting quality and risks as applied to newly developed and currently operated manufacture, power generation, transport, engineering, information, control and measurement, food storage, quality assurance and security systems. In eighth chapter, we discuss the integration of total quality management and six-sigma. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of six sigma in service organizations has been proposed in last chapter.
