George searches for answers to questions that have taken place in a time shortly after the second World War when the Caribbean island of Trinidad is holding onto a political system that is corrupt and greedy. There is hope that George - a young, politically well-placed lawyer - can make a difference. This is not to be as he faces many challenges preventing him from attaining his goal of a democratic and just government. George's journey becomes his present, his past and his future.
