Sanders, founder of The Breeder's Gazette, brought out a little volume entitled Horse Breeding, which for a period of nearly twenty-five years has stood as the standard authority on the subject to which it was devoted. It passed through many editions in this country, besides being translated and republished in Germany. The of time, however, has now ren dered it desirable that the old work be sup planted by something more modern; hence the appearance of this volume at this time.
