Quinn Crystal was a typical high school girl. When she moves from Connecticut to Centerburg, NC, she meets other "typical" people ... at least to Centerburg standards. She doesn't know it yet, but everyone holds a secret. During the annual homecoming dance, a scream is head. Someone has been murdered, and everyone knows what did it, but newcomer Quinn doesn't. With her new friends, Damon and Lizzie, they may just catch the "thing" killing people. They become unofficial Centerburg investigators. But what Quinn doesn't realize is that she could be next on a lost list of victims, dating back to ancient times.
