The aim of these addresses is expressed in the brief introductory statement I made at the time they were delivered: What I am about to try to do is to show you the broad, essential outlines of the Faith of the Gospel as I hold it to-day, and to give some of the reasons why I hold it in the way I do. This does not mean that I consider that I have arrived at a final View.
